Looks like Partington is about to refresh their R series - R31/31 1000g un painted (1050g painted) and R39/44 1100g unpainted (1160 painted) which is quite impressive with 21mm internal hooked (acknowledging there are some other lightweight options from Farsports, etc). I am curious if anyone has real world experience of the stiffness / responsiveness vs say Lightweight Obermayer EVO or Meilenstein EVO?

I have both the Partington wheels ("gen 1") and the Lightweight Meilenstein evo. With the Partingtons, you can choose how stiff you would like the wheels (they offered three options, if I recall correctly). I chose the intermediate option, and as promised by Partington, they were not quite as stiff as the Meilenstein (though quite close). More importantly to me, they feel significantly more stable in crosswinds than the Lightweights.
