Is there really much reason to get the 2.3s since they’re at such an aero disadvantage?

I think the goal is being able to run a sub 1200g wheelset rather than aero. I personally love that feel but obviously doesn't look cool compared to aero IMOLedZeppelin007 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 02, 2023 2:52 amIs there really much reason to get the 2.3s since they’re at such an aero disadvantage?

There are very very few exceptions, where I do not disagree with him. This is not one of them.

Lol. He’s just a troll. Enve is not perfect for sure. I do like their hubs and the new lineup is fantastic.FlatlandClimber wrote:There are very very few exceptions, where I do not disagree with him. This is not one of them.

I am also a big fan of the SES tires. Definitely not the fastest, but grippy, durable, and comfortable.

Never cheer before you know who is winning
For reference weigh weight limits, I’m 95kg and have been riding my 2.3’s for the past 6 months with no issues.

What tires are folks running on the 2.3s? I have a 25c ST R and two 28c ST Rs and was thinking about running a 25 in the front and 28 in the rear. Don’t think it’d really cost me much to just run 28s front and rear, though.

Yeah, 28s front and back here. The aero savings of a 25 should be pretty tiny.
For a hill climb I'd probably go 25 TT front and rear.
