I agree. I did order a set of 6.7s since I have 3.4 AR, 4.5 AR and 5.6 SES. They will replace the 5.6...since I enjoy the wider width (maybe not as wide as the new 3.4 or 4.5, but wider than the current 5.6 that I have).TobinHatesYou wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 8:16 pmI live at the top of a 15% grade and no way am I buying 2.3s just to be faster for that 5 minutes or so on the way home only to be slower during the rest of the ride. These wheels have basically one purpose, very steep hill climb races or mountaintop finishes.

New 3.4 are 4.5 are identical to 3.4AR and 4.5AR that you already have. And you say you don't want to be as wide... as two pairs that you already own?

I''m keeping 3.4AR and 4.5AR. Replacing older narrow internal width 5.6 SES with the 6.7.

I will never buy another Enve product again. Bought my second pair after returning the first due to a very long list of QC problems (big piece of silicon in the rim, permanent marker spots on the rim meant for decal placement, and the rear wheel just wouldn’t hold air over the course of long rides).
Got some new ones, set them up. Seemed to be a small bit of debris rolling around in the rear rim. Followed religiously Enve’s taping guide. And, won’t hold air. No matter what I do, how much sealant I use, they won’t hold air during a ride. I have been reinflating, trying some new things, and then the front wheel just exploded during inflation. Complete side delaminating blow out.
I just want to comfortably ride my bike. This is insane and I just want my money back and not have to deal with this ever again.

This is exactly why Campy's design of a carbon rim bed is superior. Seems like Enve needs a little more time on QC and a lot less time on instagram.

Cant tell if those are new or old rims.. sticker is too OOF. Anyways yes golden opportunity missed by enve to put a hole in all their new rims.

I bought ENVEs because they had the best warranty in 2017. They still had the best warranty in 2021, but not anymore. IMO Bontrager offers the best balance between rim dimensions and weight while also remaining hooked. Light Bicycle is also in the conversation.
