Thanks, I'm mostly a granfondo rider and I live in the alps with good surface so I'll give a shot to Michelin.

How many milliliters of sealant do you recommend for 25 millimeters tire on 21 ID rim?

Between 30-45mL of Orange Seal. 60mL+ if using something silly like Muc-Off.lukaszzsch wrote: ↑Fri Jun 16, 2023 11:09 pmHow many milliliters of sealant do you recommend for 25 millimeters tire on 21 ID rim?

Wanted to buy orange seal but I’m afraid of discoloration on sidewalls.

Orange Seal won’t stain a Power Cup sidewall. It’s a vulcanized tire with a 1mm thick casing. Stan’s doesn’t really work at road pressures.

Thank you for recommendation, I’m just ordering orange seal!
The more I ride this tire, the more I like it. Fast as a GP5k, supple similar to Vittoria, easy to mount with a floor pump, hold pressure well, and doesn't get cut up like GP5k. I see no downsides to this tire so far, especially as a daily tire. I hope they expand the line to additional sizes and add a tan 30mm option.

Hi guys,
My Michelins 25 finally arrived. Mounted them without problems on my Bontrager xxx4 rims, they sealed without sealant. After adding 40 mls of orange seal they hold pressure as good as my tubolitos(nice behavior comparing to 5000s tr that had to be pumped every ride as my tubular wheel set)
Road feeling is grate, as supple as veloflex pro tour tubulars.
But the question is…what pressure should I chose regarding they real width at 21 ID rim?
Tires are 25 mm, measured with is 29,3 mm and so far I keep riding with same pressure as for 28 mm conti. Is my understanding correct that real width is more important than width marked at tire itself?

My 28c power cup clinchers finally arrived. Paired with ride Now tpu tubes allowed me to get the weight of my addict rc to 7.2kg in size 58.
They measure 30,5mm on 21 internal rim. Tread is 25mm.
Was torned between black and yellow sidewalls. But those look preety good. Will test tide then tommorow.
