I can only compare it to the GP5K TL as I haven't tried tubeless on other brands. The S TR is much much worse than the TL. The TL was actually quite good.
Yes the TL was quite good.
Haven't used S TR as they are too expensive.
More reason not to bother then.
Used Pirelli P Zero race TLR and Michellin Power Road without issue puncture wise.
Got Corsa N.EXT TLR to go on next.

I prefer the GP5K S TR. Far easier to install. Better sidewall protection against flinty stones, wood chips, etc.

Cheers. I've never done a Conti sidewall but have heard others strike the problem.
Thousands and thousands of ks on GP4KS, that were supposedly sidewall weak.
I do love their tyres but so do others unfortunately, hence the price at the moment

Muc-Off is a good "demo" sealant as it will get where it needs to go with a healthy initial pour. However instead of becoming a lower volume of still liquid sealant, it slowly becomes a more viscous mass. Unless you frequently top off with more sealant, it will become much less effective at sealing punctures.

Also it's on the heavy side when dry. Dried Muc-Off weighs twice as much as dried Orange Seal.

Should i change sealant more frequently (every 2 months) then with MucOff? Orange Seal is not available in my country (Philippines)

Just mounted up a set of 32mm S TRs, my first foray into road tubeless. I don’t get a lot of punctures as it is, but if they can save me from having to change a tube over the winter, then it’ll be worth it.

For info, 25mm variants mounted on my Ultegra 8170 wheels with 21mm internal width blow up to 26mm measured when brand new. I expect a bit of stretching over time.

Conti is one of the few manufacturers who have printed a specific pressure for Hooked and HL on the tires. Well done!

S-Works SL8 (2023) 6.3kg

Thank you for your answers. Still, I feel a bit unsafe to instal a (tubeless) tyre on a hookless rim. Or is it just due to the fact that I am familiar with hooked rims only?

I was looking the ENVE SES 4.5 wheels for my 2023 Cervelo S5. Excellent wheels, but hookles......

There are plenty of hooked options around 50mm depth.

If you are fine with the HL compatible tires (like the S TR), the choice is just about the other stuff. For me, HL doesn't offer any real disadvantage at this stage. Was very different a couple years back, where hardly any tires were offered.
