As to be expected at that price point perhaps. But I'm more curious to know what it seems to have been pulled.

Has anyone ordered any wheels from Winspace/Lun recently? I placed an order for some Hypers almost 2 weeks ago, but the order status is still listed as "processing", so they haven't been dipatched yet. I maybe wrongly assumed that if they were not currently in stock, the website would have indicated this.

Is this delay typical for Winspace products?

Is it a D67? I heard those were on back order.

No R45s, but I guess they may be as well?

How can it be determined if something is on back order, and how's that different to being out of stock?

My D67s that I ordered a few weeks ago showed "processing" until they arrived.

Back order and out of stock is literally the same to them. Which only can be determined if you ask them.

Haha, thanks Lelandjt, that gives me hope mine aren't as far away as they seem.

Well wouldn't you know it. An hour after my last post, they appeared at my door. 🤣🤣

I managed 40kms on them, so here's some first ride photos.

Front wheel on backwards? Grooves are going the opposite direction vs the rear.

Yep. Chosen primarily for the textured brake track. Saying that, I prefer the more understated look of the UD carbon vs the butterfly weave in the non SE version too.

Haha, well damn, I didn't even think of that! I guess I'd better swap it around. Thanks for spotting that for me.

Winspace (Japan) has been teasing the new 3.0 version of the Hypers. Lighter, stiffer and now with a 23mm internal rim width. I have been inquiring of the Mega wheels and it looks as if those are also going to be refreshed to share those same measurements etc.

now that is very interesting, was execting there'd be a new model coming at some point, since they've been left in the dust by so many

fingers crossed there'll be a rim brake version (probably not)
