Not that I know of. I have apair of 25c GP5000's on LB AR56 rims that are also 23mm wide and they measure ~29mm, but they are getting pretty worn and I just ordered a new pair of GP5000's today - I'll let you know what they measure when I install them (probably in about a month).

I recieved the two GP5000's in the mail today. I probably wont install them for another three or four weeks, but I did want to add the weights before I forget. 700cx25 GP5000 Transparant with the shipping bands still in place are 220g for one and 225g for the other. This is my 6th pair of GP5000's and all my previous ones have been between 218g and 221g. I guess I'll put the 225g tire on the rear hoping the weight is more tread thickness.

I've had a solid experience with gp5000s. Quite fast with latex and had 13.5k miles last year with this combo. Had only one flat last year, but I was religious about replacing the rear every 1800 miles and removing glass particles etc as necessary at least 4-5 times monthly. One benefit of latex losing air is the daily reminder to check the tire for any issues.

OTOH, as others have said the grip leaves a lot to be desired when cornering in wet conditions and the carcass seems to be a bit thinner/wear fast vs old gp4000s, which also ran a bit wider.

Put a set of GP5000 S TR 32mm on my ENVE 5.6 Disc wheelset and was surprised by how narrow the 32mm tires run.

Front 32mm @ 65psi on 20mm ID rim: 31mm
Rear 32mm @ 65psi on 19 ID rim: 30.5mm

If i want something a little bit more durable than the regular GP5000, what tire would that be?

Mocs123 - have you had a chance to fit your new GP5000s yet?

I've got a pair of AR56 wheels coming soon, and am trying to choose between 25mm and 28mm GP5000 (non tubeless / TR). When fitted to the 23mm internal width AR56, the early batches of non-tubeless GP5000 in 25mm reportedly measure up at 28.5mm ±0.25mm wide when new, expanding to 29mm ±0.25mm after a few weeks of use. If this is still the case, then it's the tyre for me!

However, if the latest batches of non-tubeless GP5000 have also been downsized slightly (in line with the 1.5mm decrease in carcass width of the GP5000S TR vs the older GP5000 TL), then the 28mm might be on the cards.

No, I haven't, but I'll likely change them in the next few days. I've got 3,882 miles (6,248km) on my current set of GP5000's and have been holding out for 4K miles for some reason. I've got a long 4 day weekend starting tomorrow, so I'll probably just go ahead and change them this weekend.

I just put the new GP5000's on and they seem no differnet than the old ones. They actually measure about 1.5mm narrower thant he ones I took off, but I imagine after stretching they should be the same.

Has anyone weighed these recently? I just got a pair of 25s and I weighed them at 245g and 249g

I believe the tanwalls have always weighed more, as they are actually a "painted" coating, different from the black sidewall tire.

Yes, the creame walls are painted on unlike the transparent and black wall versions. Of course they should have the same RR as the black walls, which I'm not sure about with the transparant version as it's carcas is actually the brown transparent material rather than the black rubber.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm new to the forum and found the "search" function after you posted your reply, and it looks like this was brought up earlier. I would have never thought to check the "lightest" color. I guess my next pair will black, but in sort of glad I didn't know before ordering these, because the tan wall gives some nice contrast to my otherwise boring grey and black frame
