Ordered Light-Bicycle WR50 flyweight with carbon spokes.
Estimated to be around 1320g.

Originally considered CRW 5060 @1290g. But turn that down because
1) Staggered width. CRW is only wide in the front (25 int, 32 ext) but significantly narrower (21 int, 28 ext) in the rear.
2) it cost close to 50% more. While weighting only about 30g less and isn't as wide in the rear.

Let see how 21 carbon spokes and flyweight rim ride, compare to my 24 spokes Cx-ray+Cx-sprint and standard weight rim WR65.
Update will come when I receive the wheels and ride it for a few weeks.
Minor early update. The wheels are being shipped.
LB confirm weight (with rim tape) to be 1330g. It is 613g front and 717g rear.
On a hindsight, Farsports carbon spoke wheels would be lighter. But their carbon spokes are 3.2mm deep using normal hub type, rather than 4.5mm deep side-insert type like LightBicycle. So I still prefer to pay weight penalty for deeper carbon spokes anyway.

I wonder how you got your AR25 sub1kg.
My AR25 with CX-Rays and Extralite centerlock hubs came out to ~1060g.
I did t weigh them when received but that’s the weight they showed me before boxing and maybe with tape? Are the Swiss Aerolite spokes that much lighter than the CX-Rays?

Aerolites are basically identical in weight to CX Rays.

Anybody running GP5000 S TR tires on a WR wheelset? I had decided to go with that tire in 30mm on my WR45 wheelset for an anticipated tire width of approx 32mm on these wide rims but haven't fully decided yet. Curious if anyone has S TR 28mm tires and recommends them if so? Depending on what you read, it seems like preferred internal rim width for a 28 tire is 20-21mm, but these WR rims are 25mm internal. These tires in 30mm are not easy to come by but I see lots of options for 28mm.

Edit: I see LB has a list of tire measurements on all their rims, so it looks like 28s are definitely acceptable on the WR and they even have 25s listed. Unfortunately there's no mention of the GP5000 S TR, though.

I'm running the 28mm S-TR's on hooked WR50's. I've done < 500km on them, but so far they seem totally fine. Zipp 303 Firecrest and ENVE SES 4.5 have 25mm internal width and they're both "optimized" for 28mm tires. The new ETRTO recommendation seems to be a bit arbitrary; just like the 72 PSI max pressure for hookless.

This is my wheel/tire combo on my Factor Ostro. 28mm in the front, 30mm rear. The 28mm matches up with the rim perfectly IMO. WAM is 31.25mm. WAM for the 30mm TR on the rear is 33mm. These measurements are after about 5000km. They did continue to grow for quite a while after initial installation, they may still be expanding afaik.

Thank you both, that's helpful to know. I actually have one 30mm tire that I was able to snag from eBay recently, so I'm considering getting a 28 for the front. The 30mm tire came out to 313g which I was a little bummed with - about 20g heavier than BRR measured theirs. By chance did either of you weigh your TR 28 or 30 before installing?

I did, buy I don't remember the exact weights. I do remember that they were < 300g but 15 - 20g heavier than the BRR measurements.

WR50 hooked with S TR 28mm works well, have 25000km on that combo. Really fast on light gravel also. Some pretty rough hits to potholes as well, no problems. Ran 30mm S TR for a few months when 28mm was not available, didn't really notice much difference, went back to 28mm. Same WAM with Mr Gib, 28mm starts at about 30mm, never seen it go over 32mm before replacement. No idea about weights, live in too flat place for that to count.

Also WR50 behaves so nicely with wind that would be really interested in WR65 in Falcon Pro, preferably with UCI approval.

Very helpful. I'm going to snag a 28 for the front wheel. I'm hooked too FWIW. Can't wait to get this bike built.
