Have you considered the DT Swiss R 460? I ride with a couple of chaps at the club who’ve been very happy with them. They’re only 23mm wide (so not as wide as the HED Belgian Plus rims) They about half the price of he HED’s but with very similar quality (apparently).
I have built 2 wheelset with DT swiss R460.
These are for the belgian winter (rain + salt on roads in winter)
I really like the Quills makes the my corsa 25 mm into 28 mm so I can just fit them in m canyon ultimate.
I have bought 3 bitex hubsets at a closeout for a bargain price and looking for cheap very very wide rims.

the dt offerings (R460 and R511) are very fairly priced on bike24. Pity, because I can't stand that retailer, ridiculously slow order processing and shipping, oh, and they do have higher tax rates (VAT 27%) if I purchase from my native country...
Fortunately, AFAIK, the local dt distributor can offer the same, or even better prices..

I saw somewhere that the Kinlin XR26Ts are very very tight with regular rim tape. I can confirm this. I did get a Conti 4 Seasons 28mm on, but the bead won't pop so far at reasonable presssure eg 120psi.
The advice I saw suggested replaceing the regular tube tape with tubeless. Just waiting for it to arrive.

Tubeless rim tapa arrived, and fitting a tyre is easier. Currently got a Schwalbe Pro One with a tube on it, will try tubeless this weekend

Setup the tyre with a tube and ran it for a few days. Then removed the tube, put in a valve and 30mm of sealant. Works great so far. Can inflate using a floor pump, and on an all day ride only lost a few PSI
