You might be the first person ever to say the TT has good grip! It's the main weakness. If they add the compound from the AS TR or 111, then it would be a solid 10/10.
Honestly, no need. Aero 111 front and TT rear would just make the best performance IMO. TT grip is plenty for rear. Front, I'll never say no to more grip so 111 data suggests it's the best ever.

I think my setup will be

Summer Front: 29mm Aero 111
Summer Rear: 28mm TT

Winter Front: 29mm Aero 111
Winter Rear: 30mm GP5000 S TR
Why not just go 111 front and rear?
111 in rear does nothing I need better than a TT or GP S TR

I need better mileage in the winter from rear = S TR
I need light weight and best/lowest rolling resistance possible for races / PR attempts etc from rear in Summer = TT

Better grip and better aero is all I'd want from front summer or winter = 111

Fair. Thought you wanted better grip on rear, too.

I find it somewhat amusing to dismiss grip on a rear tire. The rear wheel is the one being driven and wears at 3x the rate as the front tire due to constant micro-slippage. Someone has never sprinted up slight incline or had to sprint out of a slow corner while still leaned.

I have and I have had slip, even lifted the rear. I'm arguing that the slippage happens because of bad pedaling technique / weight distribution and not because you're jasper philipsen...

EDIT: Before this turns into an argument that I don't wanna participate in, there's no race I take part in that will end in a sprint. Guaranteed. I have a ~1100 watt max sprint anyway which is not gonna overcome any tires any time soon. And even that number is irrelevant because at the end of the race it'll be more like 900 watts and again, I won't even need that because the races I race are all tons of climb and whoever has the most power in the last 8 minutes kinda wins it. So more like a nutrition / endurance game rather than a sprint finish.

So your priorities are not my priorities. I still think rear grip is overrated for sprints because what makes you lose grip is tire lifting just enough millimeters from ground to have less contact patch and skipping. A grippier tire won't do much in that area (IMO). You just need to deliver the power more evenly across the pedal stroke. But you can disagree with this and choose grippier tire, all the power to you. I was asked why I don't run 111 in the back. There's my reasons. I'll be preferring RR / weight or RR / durability for my purposes. Glad you're amused.

Horses for courses. I'm really enjoying the TT TR. Except in the wet and except downhill on switchbacks. They start losing traction far sooner than Power Cup or Prima.

With the 111, Conti showed us they have a grippy low RR compound now, which will really make the TT TR a killer on all courses if they apply it there.

How bad is the TT TR in the wet? Heavy rain in the forecast this weekend and I'm wondering whether I need to switch to the Prima to save time (or skin) on twisty descents.

BRR says TT TR grip is the same as the S TR, but I've heard myltiple people mention anecdotally that it has less grip.

When we compare tires and determine one tire is less grippy, it doesn’t mean you’ll 100% slide and crash, obviously. I’d bet tt is still a lot grippier than most non-race oriented tires out there. Take it slow, get a feel for them. You’ll be fine.

This is a race where most 90 degree turns are at the bottom of descents and the forecast has pouring rain. I guess I'll leave the TT TR on and find out!

Remember to not test absolute limits on the first corner!
