Here is mine, I have since adjusted the fenders a bit. I am already looking for something with fender mounts …

Hey guys. Do you see some issue with having aluminum bike as winter bike?

I am considering to build allez sprint on rival axs as secondary road bike, mainly for winter usage on 32mm tires... And also as an ok-to-crash bike for crit race where I am afraid to use my sl7.

I hate riding in the rain and no longer commute due to working away now, so that's mine.

Kudos to you people who still do. Some nice set ups there. Yeah I'd go disc these days if still commuting in the wet.

Yeah of course, aluminum is a great material for a winterbike

No concern of corrosion?

Considering most of the parts attached are alloy based, its not any more of a concern.

Salty roads aren't great for any bike but make sure you keep it cleaned and maintained well enough and you'll be fine.

My current winterbike. Last year I had a bmc teammachine as a winterbike, but I feel a lot safer on muddy roads with the grizl and the disc brakes. Image

Here’s mine today. Sold the old tcx last summer and eventually bought the new model recently. It’s the same bike and geo but somewhat lighter, better handling and it feels more direct. So an even better bike then the previous model. I’m very happy with it for winter riding and cross/gravel Image

This is very nice.

I cannot recommend these enough. https://www.veloduo.co.uk/products/carb ... 35-40-50mm

I have them on my Vaaru (pictured here: https://www.instagram.com/p/ChFQxTdINgN/ ) and they are completely solid. As in, no noise. And very light.
