That's a fantastic looking bike, congratulations!
That's an experience I'd like to have myself, a made to measure Pegoretti in Ciavete, and most likely one I'll put before owning a Porsche. Late last year I bought a new old stock Marcelo frameset in the Panel paint scheme that I've yet to build, I'll post pics soon of the frame...

I have an Pegoretti on the buy list. Few choise to make and then the only thing is to have patience.
One choise is a Marcello or a duende, Some say it is the same frame with a different rear and other say it aint, a dealer told me go for the Marcello, even if you do not race, a duende is Nice for the wall
Could Someone who has both or ride on both of them explain ? What de difference is in frame weight?
Is a Marcello stif as a scott foil?
Thanks

Pegoretti Duende 52 Avbd
Finally got it built. I purchased this off of eBay, but the previous owners are paceline forum members. Frame was in amazing condition without any flaws. I always wanted a Pegoretti to see what the fuss was about. I see now. I wanted to build a "softer" more relaxed geometry steel bike with 28mm tubs. So here it is.
2016 full chorus, vision tc24 tubs with schwalbe one 28mm with red cassette, fizik Aliante vs, 3t rotundo ltd bars, uno superlight stem, ritchey wcs carbon 27.2mm seatpost, elite alloy cages and keo carbon blade cromo pedals. Weighs in at 17lbs or 7700 gram. Handle bar tape is Arundel Gekko, which is the most comfortable I have found.
