What's old is new again. I printed a batch of these BIKE T's over 10 years ago. Still have a couple of them, they're going strong!
Any chance you have one in size L packed a way that you'd ship to the US?

I have the Nigel Sylvester Jordan 4 RM's in driveway grey with the "Bike Air" logo on the back.. that shirt would look sick!

Holy crap those sneakers look sick! I had no idea Nike actually made those.

I legit thought that I created the "Bike" Nike logo 10+ years ago, but have noticed a fair few people have made it since. I don't have any spares lying around (I never sold them but made 50 of them and gave them out to bike friends at the time), and I'm tempted to buy a new T off the print on demand sellers I've found via google search, but the ones for sale haven't exactly got the right "B" and letter spacing (and I'm a bit particular about that kinda stuff!).

Today I took delivery of a set of SL6 specific Cane Creek eeBrakes which I sourced from Cycling Upgrades in the USA.

These have been an object of desire for me for many years (just never had the right bike to put them on!), they're insanely light and I love how mechanical they look (form follows function!).

I've yet to get my hands on an adapter I need to get the rear caliper on the bike, but I have one in transit en-route from Carousell in Singapore.

Image
Cranks on. I needed to use a 2.5mm spacer on the non-drive side to get the preload adjuster to work right.

Just saw your WTB for the adaptor but I can't reply it so I reply it here. I successfully 3D printed the adaptor, same model of the offical version. I would like to sell it for 50 USD/46 EUR each + shipping fee( I'm in China )
The material is aluminium alloy, weight 18g. Also you can anodize colors for what ever you want, but it will cost you more. Mine is red.

That's awesome! I have an original one coming in the mail from Singapore, but if for whatever reason it does not get to me I'll be in touch!

Just a quick phone shot of the SL6 specific Cane Creek eeBrakes I got.

Essentially they are two Direct Mount front calipers that do not come with washers behind the brake shoes to provide wider rim width clearance and the caliper that goes on the rear of the frame has a specific shorter link that was designed to not contact the seat tube.

I've tested the rear with shorter link and it's a no go so I'll still need an adapter (on it's way).

Yeah for sure. No matter what version of Cane ee DM brake, if you want to use it on SL6, actually they have no difference. You have to use the adaptor.
OR
You can use a special screw bolt just for now.(It works, but looks weird and a little bit heavy, so I changed to the adaptor)

From the photos you posted these are certainly genuine and the source you bought from sells tons of other high end teardown parts.

I also don't think the counterfit sellers bothered to knock off the short arm. They likely could have but just didn't see a market need but thats just a guess on my part.

Many of the small parts, for the brakes themselves, can be purchased from Cane Creek still and there are aftermarked parts of different colors from S-Parts too.

I don't know if this helps at all but from what you posted the cable tention adjustment top parts are missing but you likely have them and just didnt photograph them. EE uses rubber like o-rings on these but I remove the o-ring myself as they just get in the way. There are supposed to be very thin metal washers that you place between the direct mount bolt and the frame and there are black circular spacers for the pads. From the manual each brake should have 0 to 4 of these spacers depending on the rim OW. Also there are more thin metal washers used on the outer Ti pad bolts. If you don't have some of these I'd buy them from Cane Creek directly and also grab a nice EE wings preloader ring Cane Creek #BAI0030 to replace the crap plastic SRAM ring.

Regarding setup direct mount EE requires two tools most people dont have on hand a 13mm crow wrench (to 1/4 or 3/8 depending on your torque wrench) and a long 6mm hex to your torque wrench. Both are needed to setup the calipers correctly.

The Cane Creek manual and video are very useful for proper setup which is a bit fiddly for the direct mount but once setup its set unlike the non DM which can change from toruqe at the central mounting bolt. Regarding perfomance I find the rear good enough but changed to Dura-Ace for better performance on the front for steep stuff. However for most normal riding EE is good enough.

Also as a small detail I changed the rear bolts that connect to the carbon bridge to a black Ti part to better color match it to a tire otherwise it stands out a bit. Note that these bolts also should have a washer. The part I bought I got on ebay and was named: "M5 Titanium Anodized Color Tapered or Square Allen Socket Head Cap Bolt Fastener" Head Style: Tapered Length: 12mm Color: Black

Edit: Also while looking at small parts I dont see the bottle cage bolts you have but if you want them you should be able to easily get S-Works Water Bottle Cage Bolts Part No.: S220500004 from a specialized dealer. They are made of aluminum so are very soft so should be attached with care but are what the frame likely originally shipped with and are very light weight.

Hey thanks for the really detailed reply. Much appreciated!

I have read through the manual, and also watched and bookmarked the instructional video on YouTube (such a well done video!). I did get a little satchel of extra bits, the tension adjustment parts, 4 thin washers to go between the brakes and the frame and a bunch of thicker black washers for the pads. They're actually in the photo of the calipers on the scales but the bag is blurred out in my photo as it's not in focus). I am missing the toothpick though!

I don't have a crowfoot adapter for my torque wrench so might just have to pop into my LBS to get that sorted once I've got everything set up.

And yup the frame came with 4 x S-WORKS bottle cage bolts (I bought these direct from Specialized for my Allez Sprint too, they're great!).

Hylix seatpost came in the mail today. Was packaged just as carefully as the last one (for my Allez Sprint), but this one got here in half the time (OEM seatpost was 165g).

Image
Conndor Ti skewers also came in the mail today.

More goodies came in the mail today. We're super close now.

Image
A while back I spotted this 100mm -12 Extralite stem on FB Marketplace but the seller reduced the price and thought I'd buy it in case the 120mm -6 didn't work out.

Image
May all the beauty to be blessed. Ah bless the Chinglish! Gotta love it!

Image
My order for the Cadex bars through my LBS got refunded (out of stock) so I found these EXS R175 Road Handlebars on Panda Podium. Bit heavier than the Cadex, but quality looks really good.

Image
Check the weight on these bad boys! Free socks! First time dealing with Panda Podium, and man these bars got to me (in Australia) in 6 days. SO quick. Very impressed.

Image
We did it guys! The unicorn! The elusive Cane Creek eeBrake adapter for the SL6 Tarmac. Such a tiny little thing for such a massive headf#*k!

Image
Test fit. Yes, perfect. Hnnng! So happy!

Unless you're planning on riding backwards, don't forget to rotate your brakeshoes! Otherwise might get ugly and expensive..

Cage fight: CarbonWorks founder claims Topeak bike bottle cage infringes brand's own design.

As a designer I know what it feels like to have your work ripped off by others, in this case Topeak, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of cycling accessories, has clearly ripped off the CarbonWorks bottle cage.

So what do you do? You support the OG. At 112,50 € it's the most expensive water bottle cage I'll ever buy, but hey, Art isn't cheap.
