Rose X-Lite 964 Edition 5.85 kg Custom Painted

Hi all,

This is ruuf_reimagined from Istanbul. I have always been here whenever I need specific information for many years but never thought about to register, open an account and join actively. Cycling is my passion like all of you and during pandemic I've decided to express my passion in painting and building bikes I dream. This is totally a hobby for now. I had spent 2 years to read, watch and practice before I practically gave a practical start. This is my first project which was one my favorite bikes 2016 Rose X-lite Team 8800 inspired by lightweight retromodified Porsche 964's. Bike's weight is 5.85 kg (w/o pedals incl. garmin mount)

My next projects will ve 3T Strada (inspired by Lamborghini Huracan STO in blue/orange) and Lauf Seigla (inspired by nordic gods). I will share them as soon as I finalize.

@spokenwords In the early morning you can see lots of cyclists along Bosphorus, especially in the European side. After 8:00 am it is not possible But in the weekends we generally ride towards the northern part of the city where green is dominated. You can stretch up to 200-250 km along Black Sea coast of Asian side.

@mrfish I wish I have a green matching 964 with brown leather interior and classic air cooled engine.
But I have a matching helmet instead

I do paint job myself at home actually. I reimagine and paint under roof to avoid messing inside

I start my second project 3T Strada.
It is going to be easier to paint as RTP (Ready to Paint) frame comes with black primer without paint. So no sanding which takes too much effort and time.
