I'm sick and tired of discs and I miss the nimbleness of the rim brakes I used during my junior days (I'm 22)

My plan is to build a budget racer, I mainly do hilly road races here in France(110 to 150k with 1300 to 2000m elevation) so full aero it is

The build list is the following

FRAME / FORK Standert - Kreissage 1750 g
WHEELS Farsport Kaze 88T 1610 g
TIRES Michelin Power cup T 25 560 g
CALIPER EE brake Aliexpress 187 g
CRANK Rotor Aldhu 700 g
CASSETTE Campagnolo centaur 11 291 g
FRONT MECH Campagnolo centaur 11 103 g
REAR MECH Campagnolo centaur 11 230 g
SHIFTER Campagnolo centaur 11 373 g
CABLES Campagnolo centaur 11 150 g
CHAIN Campagnolo centaur 11 256 g
HANDLEBAR DEDA Alanera 120*40 350 g
STEM
SADDLE Selle italia boost slr 120 g
SEAT POST Elita Carbon 130 g
PEDALS Assioma Duo 265 g
BOTTLE CAGES 20 g

TOTAL 7095 g

I'm still hesitating about going full aero with the Aerocoach Ornyx bar since the races I do are not pancake-flat.
This is by no means a weight weenies build but it would still be lighter than my current disc bike

Suggestions for the build are welcome, pics will follow as soon as the parts are there!

I still totally love my disc bike. Lately I took my Blue AC1 out a few times lately and its great too! Recent changes to it are went from Red 10 speed to 11 speed. Converted the cranks, Red, from 172.5mm to 165mm and took off the compact rings and added Praxis Buzz 52, 36. A few people have knock the rings. They work just as good as the Sram rings. The bike does weight in at 13.1 lbs or 5921 grams for the US challenged.

Hi, you should probably read the reviews about EE brakes knockoffs ... I have my doubts about their quality.

Either you really want EE brakes, and it's better to buy real ones (I know where you can find a pair used, in France, if you're interested) or you only want really efficient brakes (as are EE brakes) and Campagnolo brakes should do the trick.

Just my 2 cents

Supporting counterfeits is cringe

lol others definitely beat me to it, but yeah the moment I saw that line in the build list I was puzzled. Getting a knock-off of ultralight brakes seems super dicey, especially when you claim you're building this bike because you miss the feel of rim brakes.
Centaur brakes will probably still cost less than the fake ee's, or splash for some Chorus ones for like 20 bucks more. The weight penalty really isn't that much.
