Round tubes and rim brakes, so so clean. Love the carbon weave on that tt.

Oh, a real road bike? Very rare.

Can you provide a build list?
Marco Pantani - Momenti Di Gloria
AX Vial (SR11) <- FELT FC (Record 10) <- LOOK KX (Dura-Ace) <- Specialized EPIC (Superbe Pro)

I'd also be interested in a ride report and what lead you to Festka vs any of the other top shelf custom grail bike builders.

Mechanical shifting with external cables, Campy groupset, all the things I love. Well done.

Hi WW's

Thanks for kind remarks.

All really basic stuff on the FESTKA One:

Campy 12 speed mechanical groupset
Campy wheels, BORA 1, 35mm w/Conti 5000's and LW Quick Release
ENVE, seatpost, handlebars & stem (120mm) carbon
Pro carbon stealth saddle
Giant carbon bottle cages
LOOK Keo blade carbon ceramic pedals

Occasionally I run these Campa Hyperon Gen 1 wheels with FMB Koppenberg tubulars (26mm) on the hideous climbs around Barcelona where I currently live.

I could probably spice up this bike with sexier and lighter components but I'm an old bike racing dog and I think there is a fine line between weight, economics, reliability, robustness and safety IMHO.

Thanks again for your remarks. Rubber side down.

Oh yeah, for the ride report. I've only been out twice so far. Obviously, this frame is responsive and agile. Great power transmission. I am not yet used to hanging it out on the long descents but it does inspire excellent stability so far. It is of course light, but I'm sure there are lots of other ligher bikes out there. My other bike is a Colnago Presige cyclocross with disc brakes & Shimano 11 speed DI2. I use it for gravel or road with road wheels (Giant SLR1). I am surprised that on the road with the SLR1 & road tyres how the Colnago is very comfortable and agreeable ride, albeit much heavier than the FESTKA. FWIW, I only purchased the FESTKA because the original owner purchased the frame but had to part with it soon after due to injury. The frame an fork was never built up, so I basically lucked out on the deal. I don't think I could fit a new FESTKA into my budget.
