Just finished the project I've been thinking of since Aethos was released.

I always liked how Aethos looked - simple classic lines and more upright geomtery and obviously the weight. BUT those external cables were stopping me from buying it :?

So I decided to fix that once and for all!

I've made a video about this project with all components weighed - I hope you enjoy it :beerchug:

Let me know what you think

I'd rather have the cables and a lighter and more matched fork. But good work.

Not a positive move imo. Actually, one of the things that most appeals me to the aethos is simplicity of changing parts and service the bike.

Great video; thank you.
To make sure I understood, new force shifters are lighter than Red?

How do those wheels perform? Are they stiff enough?

What are you riding on gravel?
