Is that white or silver? The description always talks about white, in the pictures you can see it badly ...

The color is called "opal white". Same color as on the last Diamante model or Diamante SV. It´s a cold, blue greyish off white with perlmutt effect that turns out especially in sun light.

An aesthetical return to form for Basso. After the 2019 Diamante with the sunken stem. The old one rides better than it looks.

I would have loved the rim brakes on the new models, which could have accentuated the slender fork.

Hi Storky, out of interest did you do any research on the frame weights in the 3 colours? I had assumed the gloss would be heavier altho your white one is Rear carbon at the rear which might bring the weight down.

I have emailed b Basso but not optimistic I will get a response!

I have not details to this but assume that the black matt color scheme is the lightest one. red maybe is heavier than opal white because the red is painted at the rear end as well - not only clearcoat as the opal one.

Thank you - they were my thoughts but would be really surprised if the black came in lighter than your opal white one…

The black is just matt clearcoat...i would name it "matt carbon"...only one thin layer of paint.

Ordered! Thanks for giving me the nudge - was a bit worried the frame would be well over published weight.
