She's all together. Unfortunately the shock is just not going to work. I need the lockout to face the top, the bottle cake isn't accessible with it either. So I've got another DT shock on order. Needs a Garmin mount still. Added tubolite liners at around 60g a piece with muckoff sealant. First time using muckoff so the smell was interesting..
Fit feels great! But the seatpost is maxed out. I think the seat tube angle is about as sharp as it can accommodate. Hopefully it handles the stress okay. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Would a side loading bottle cage work? It's a lot cheaper than a new shock...

I may have to do that as well based on how tight the triangle is. The frame also has internal routing for the lockout. But there is no way to make that work if the lockout is by the bottle. So the replacement shock will allow for the cable to be run without issues. Plus a used shock of the same era was only 100usd so not to damaging.

That rear end looks flexy and seems like it will be really hard on the shock shaft and bushings.
