And so it begins. Basso Diamante Maap. BassoMaatic (shout out to Saturday Night Lives old Bass-o-matic skit). Love the looks of this thing and the geometry made it very interesting to me. Ive only had custom geometry bikes for the past several years but decided Im going to give this a try. I think I can make it fit if I can get ahold of a 130 stem. In the meantime I might alter the headset a bit and use a regular stem. That Basso stem is a boat anchor but it sure looks the part.
I plan on making some WW mods on the seatpost and switching to ti bolts throughout. I will be using my old Record 11 and Mavic Cosmic Ultimates. Here are some tasty pics after I unboxed it. Still need to get the BB pressed in before I can start the build.

I cant disagree with you on that. Thanks to this forum I found a 130.
Which, I gotta mention, is another prime example of how awesome WW is, and has been, for me. Ive been here for over 20 years (this isnt my og account) and have made friendships that allowed me to build amazingly light bikes (sub 4.5kg) and even travel the world. Cool place, this.

Mine didn't but the EPS/Di2 covers sorta work if you finagle it for electronic. Not sure what to do for mech. I used Sugru for a while TBH.

Hmmm, maybe it isnt supposed to have one then. I guess that A in arts and crafts will come in handy.

This is gonna be challenging but I really dont want to use the supplied seatpost hardware. Ive got parts for the rear rail clamp but I cant figure out what to do with the front.
