any thoughts on where to best save on weight?

Do you have a target weight and/or budget in mind?

A saddle and cassette swap (Bdop??) could probably quickly give you 250g altogether, and still keep it daily rideable.

A carbon stem-handlebar combo like Specialized Alpinist might be 250g ish or so in your size. Hard to know, but probably give you another 100g there.

Pedals and so on. I'd start in that order.
