Rumour has it that if you go there to collect something you get picked up in a black Cadillac truck and a hood Put over your head till you arrive.

Awesome rebuild!
What’s the weight delta between the SL7 seat post and the Darimo seat post?

And what's the difference in compliance? The standard SL7 seatpost has been criticized for being too stiff.

There's around a 70g saving with the Darimo, I expect maybe 80g when they release the in-line post in 2036...
I've never felt that the standard post was hard, in both offsets.
The Darimo maybe has a little more flex, but I'm 88kg and it's still perfect, for me.

Sick build! Love the SL7 in all black, those Carbon Ti look stunning. What chain are you using, default DA chain?
Love the choice for the Dravit Grau decals, beautiful color. The bare look is cool but liked the pop from the blue more. Nonetheless, very much sick build.

it still just a star ratchey, don't really see any thing special about itda123 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 09, 2022 11:07 amWould be interested to know how you find the hubs. The engagement mechanism certainly looks much better than Extralite, so I assume that the pickup is significantly improved.overdriven98 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 09, 2022 9:58 amdoes those fancy hub really worth the premium over a set of extralite?
It almost cost 2 pairs of extralite......and extralite still lighter, unless you really want centerlock
also I'm not riding a mtb, what extralite offer are more than sufficient on road anyway, even so, I don't see how engagement point alone jusitfy the price
Did you save any weight with the new paint job, and if so - how much? Did you keep the serial number under the BB shell? Great looking build, after two open mold frames I dig clearcoat-only paint job more than the regular paint.
854g down to 753g.

I have a 52 2021 SL7 running SRAM RED AXS. Could I switch out the original SRAM clx-r 140 mm rotors for other brands (aftermarket or shimano) without alignment problems with the red calipers/pads. Also my front and rear rotors are 140mm. Can I switch the front to 160mm?
