Looking forward to see pictures from the complete build as well as how the Alpinist cockpit looks on the Crux.
Been waiting on a few parts to show up so the build can be finished. I orderd some parts from Omni Racer in Texas and USPS took almost 2 weeks to get it from Texas to NC!!
Omni Racer GXP BB - ($110) RACE-Lite Ti CERAMIC Integrated External Bottom
Omni Racer 27.2 Seatpost ($100)
Omni Racer Water Bottles ($33 each)
Sram Rival AXS - Can't beat the price / performace of these parts - 26 grams heavier than my Red AXS FD
Sram Rival AXS - About 50 grams heavier than my Red AXS RD
Sram Rival AXS - I prefer the smaller shape of these compared to my Red Shifters
Funny how a seat that has 125g printed on the leather actually weighs 139g, but for $85.....
Build should be done Friday. I caved as I just didn't have the time to build it up. I handed it off to my mobile bike shop today to have him complete it.
There will be plenty of ways to reduce weight after I get the inital build back.
I am thinking it is probably going to weight about 16.75lbs when I get it back from him. Then I can start trimming the fat.

It is finally prelimarily complete. Took a while to get some parts, etc. I had my local mobile bike shop put it together. What took him 2 days would have taken me a lot longer to try and fit it in when I could.......anyway.
The weight shown does not include sealant which will add another 120grams.
Changes forthcoming to shave more weight:
1. 105 pedals to Dura-Ace
2. Campy Rotors (heavy) to Shimano XTR Rotors - (160/140)
3. Change out Rear Derailleur to Red From Rival - Will swap this over from my Aero bike
4. Going to Zipp 303 Firecrest Wheels
5. Trimming the seatpost to a safe level
6. Maybe getting a Berk Lupina Saddle
I will mostly be using this on the road, but it sure is going to be fun on gravel too.

Final build for now. Weight shown is all inclusive.
Pedals, 2x, Water Bottle Cages, 2oz Sealant per tire, clip for saddle bag and Hammerhead Computer Mount.
Road setup is newer model Zipp 303 Firecrest and Schwalbe Pro One Tubeless Tires (28). XTR 160 front, XTR 140 rear.
This is truly an incredible bike and I don't regret purchasing the frameset one bit.......and that's coming from a non-specialized fan.

Very nice bike! I've been eyeing up a lightweight crux built too but have been unable to find the 10R frameset anywhere in the UK. Ordering overseas is sadly a tricky proposition these days thanks to all of the Brexit nonsense. Has anyone seen them over here yet by any chance?
