That makes a lot of sense. Sounds exactly like the type of bike that would suit me and it looks really good too.

I have a local dealer that sells Wilier and I've been eyeing a Filante SLR but the cost is just astronomical. 5k for just a frameset makes you consider your alternatives.

Thanks! That confirms size 56 - this one can go on the shortlist :)

Quick little upgrade. Thanks to @ryanw I found out you can install a dura ace cage on a ultegra r8050 ss derailleur. These are easy to find second hand from people upgrading to ospw’s. Results in a 20g weight saving.
Thanks for this hint. I just carried out this mod on my Ultegra RD for a nice weight savings with zero compromise.

Really really nice build. I have build a custom Stevens Comet with Campy 12s getting to 6,8kg with size 56. Next plan (not this year) is a more aero oriented bike. I have seen a few of these in red in the wild - but the stealth look is awesome :) When the frame was released, I was a bit disappointed about its weight. Good to know that you can upgrade parts of the seatpost. Since this frame is not a lot more expensive than Seka RDC, it might get onto my (short) list of potential frames :)

Do you have plans to get an integrated cockpit? The Farsports F1 is really nice :)

Thanks!
Currently the plan is to get the EXS Aerover integrated bar and a red dub crank. This should result in a a sub 7 bike

Bit of both, the roads here are absolute crap and wanting to build something a lot lighter

(Yes I need shorter valve extenders)
Holy moly that is a sexy bike. Why have I never heard about this frame? That thing is gorgeous. How does it ride?
