@texano999, totaly agree with you, there are some logic/physical barrier in weight/durability ratio.
Aethos broke this barrier and frame weight is 570 gramm, crazy light i think.
Contra versa, Shimano DuraAce 9200 crankset looks great, but it heavy and dont work as preciese as SRAM for example. BTW SRAM crankset with powermeter is 620 gramm, and works way better then Shimano in my experience.

I found good video with slowmotion about difference between 9200 and AXS shifting.

And one more video about 9200/9100 shifting.

How did you remove the Praxis decals on the chainrings?

Acetone and a lot of elbow grease. I did this too on my Praxis chainrings:

Weird, I tried acetone and it doesn’t do anything, maybe I need to try harder

Yes try again. I was not successful on my first attempt either. It's not as easy as on a Kalloy Uno stem

Small shifting contest(on the stand).

Participants:
1) CarbonTi 4arm 110 50/34
2) Stronglight CT2 5arm 110 50/34
3) Stronglight Red 22 5arm 110 49/34, 50/36
3) Rotor NOQ 5arm 110 50/34
4) Rotor Aldhu integrated DM 52/36
5) Praxis Buzz 5arm 110 50/34
6) KCNC Cobweb 5arm 110 50/34
7) Shimano 9200 4arm 110 50/34
8) ZRace 5arm 110 50/34, 52/36
9) Sram integrated DM 48/35

In my case only options integrated options #4 and #9 works correctly.

Have to use pedals with power meter and Rotor cranks (

Curious how the Carbon-Ti did in the contest.

I’m on the fence about trying a Clavicula SE +Carbon-Ti or maybe Praxis 50/34t rings… or just going with DA9100 and deal with drive side crank PM issues potentially.

@Turrifik, sorry but in my case i cant achive acceptable level of shifting quality with all participants except integrated solutions.
Shimano or SRAM front mech is not so important in my case, but chainrings is main factor.
Only SRAM AXS integrated 48/35 and Rotor DM 52/36 works for me. It works fine with all chains and all FD in my case.

Today i receive Darimo Nexum integrated handlebar, Darimo T1 Loop seatpost, Gelu S3 Saddle.
Im not sure about this lightweight parts, it looks goods and crazy light but i feel much confident with Aplinist Coockpit and SQLab saddle.

Interesting. Good to know. This is with a 9200 groupo?

I may just keep it simple and stick with a DA9100 crankset (dual 4iii PM) that I haven’t installed yet. I’ve been looking at other ‘better’ options because of reports about inaccurate drive side power data w/ Shimano cranks.

Edit: I’m running Ultegra 8050 w/ Red cassette at the moment. No 12spd for me.

@Turrifik, Yes, with DA9200.

Just one reason for me 9200 chosen because i can swap wheels from other bikes with 12spd SRAM.

Look at Favero Assioma Duo(not Uno), this is very reliable, cost effencive PM solution and it is time proven ) You can install it on any crankset and any bike )

My current setup looks like this

Well done at 5.44kg. Great build.
I agree. The Assiomo’s are likely the way I’d go with a Clavicula or other very lightweight crank. Would just need to find good chainrings for 11sp Ultegra Di2.
Your shifting experiment and mentions of dropped chains onto carbon cranks has me doing a bit more digging. Thanks again!

@Turrifik, there are no drop-stop pin and hole for this pin in CarbonTi chainrings at all, AbsolutBlack dont have them too.
If chain drops outside and stuck between crankarm and chainring, you can damage your cranks with hight level of torque from your legs, especialy if this happend then you shifting while standing on pedals.

I cant adjast 50/34 DA9200 crankset, trying so many times, with XTR 12spd chain(this is stock DA9200 chain). SRAM XX1 12spd chain dont help too.
I dont try 52/36 DA9200.

Btw, 9200 chainrings has different interface, you cant install old, 9100 compatible chainrings to 9200 cranks. No way. If you have 9200 cranks, you have to use 9200 chainrings atm.

There are small sign "11-12 speed" on my CarbonTi chainrings, but i dont know is this new version or not. Manufacturer codes is the same, as on CarbonTi website. I order it on r2-bike.com few weeks ago.

Concluded for myself, FD shifting depends:
1) Frame and FD mount. Frames has different brazeon mounts, you can adjust only two of three axis and this can be stop-factor in setup proccess. You can read very different reviews about FD shifting quality from different peoples with different frames )
2) Chainrings teeths count. 53/39 or 48/35 works much better then 50/34.
3) Compatibility of chainrings and spider. Spiders has different thin. This lead to different distance between chainrings and optimized chainrings cant work together with some spiders.

If you choose integrated chainrings, or cranks/spider/chainrings from one brand and lineup with smaller teeth difference you will have higher chance to success i think %)

There are other factors, like chain, teeth profile, etc but i dont feel real difference in my case.

Jasmine from on9bike.com helps me order Panaracer Gillar 700x25C tyres.
290g hookless clincher rims ordered from Deerobust too.
With Bird polymer or ACM carbon spokes this saves 250-300g from wheels.
