Now that you had it some time, how is ride feel?NiloCoppi wrote: ↑Tue Apr 25, 2023 11:59 amTime for some updates on my beloved F12.
I swapped out the cockpit for a shorter, narrower one.
The bike is now spot on at 7,0 / 6,99 kg.
Maybe I will be changing the wheels in the near future for some Princeton Carbonworks Wake, that should bring the weight down some more and make the rig more aero.
Bikes:
Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2019.01.03)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)
Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.

The bike handles really well. It just urges to be pushed harder and harder. Sometimes when I go full gas in the right gearing the bike wheelies, its just crazy, I have not had this on any other bike. Since swapping out the cockpit to a shorter and narrower version I like tha handling of the bike even more. Ride feel is really direct with 25c tires, it feels like a proper racing machine. Putting on 28c tires gives the bike a more subdued feeling on the road.

The Alpitude Gardena saddle is just perfect for me. It is nothing less comfortable than the stock Most Lynx padded saddle that came with the bike. I also like the super long saddle rails that give you plenty of setback movement, and the look of that thing is just through the roof.
