Hi all! First post. Seems like the right place for this.

After thirteen years and at least 15,000 miles on an '07 Orbea, I finally built myself a new ride. I bought a 2020 Cinelli Superstar 'Black Tie' to tackle the hills and streets around San Francisco. The bike is brilliant. The frame was claimed to be 920g. It weighed in at 883g....with hanger! She’s light, fast, smooth and handles bautifully. Sharp turn in and stable through the radius. Climbing is a blast. And she looks sensational!

Anyway, here are the weights that I recorded along the way:
Cinelli Superstar Frame M (w/ st cl & hanger)...........................883g
Wheels Manufacturing Screw-together BB86 Bottom Bracket..........121g
Superstar Fork (in fact a Columbus Futura)...............................403g
Lower Fork Race...................34g
Upper Fork Race...................51g
Deda Superzero Carbon Seat Post (21mm setback).........193g
Deda Superleggera Carbon Handlebar 44cm.........193g
OMNIracer Super-Light Alloy Stem 60mm (Ti bolts)......108g
SRAM Force 22 fr Derailleur w/ Guard.......85g
SRAM Force 22 rear Derailleur..........164g
SRAM Force 22 fr Brake Caliper (w/ Swissstop blue pad).......142g
SRAM Force 22 rear Brake Caliper (w/ Swisstop blue pad......142g
SRAM Force 22 172.5 Crank, Arms, Ultegra Pedals.........924g
SRAM Force 11sp Cassette....261g
SRAM Force Doubletap Levers.....307g (Claimed, pair)
Mavic Ksyrium Elite front.....771g
Conti GP5000 and Race Light tube front......318g
Skewer front......73g
Mavic Ksyrium Elite rear.....935g
Conti GP5000 and Race Light tube rear........323g
Skewer rear.......62g
SRAM PC 1170 Chain....245g (claimed)
Selle Italia Flite SuperFlow Saddle.....260g (claimed)

Grand Total: 6,998g/15.43lb

I used Jagwire Sport brake and shift cables, which are excellent. Threading the frame was not too terrible and they don't slap or make any noise. I did not weigh the cables.

Let me know what you think. I'll update with pics and additional info.

Thanks! Yeah, I could not be happier so far. I am racking up Strava PRs everywhere, especially on big local climbs, which is precisely what I was looking for.

I was planning on a new Orca and also started drooling over the latest Cervelo R3, which are both beautiful bikes, but in the end found the Cinelli's style, uniqueness and performance agenda ticked the boxes for me.

Looks great!
What width tire are you running and how's the clearance? The website seems to claim clearance for 25-28mm depending on the colour...
