That's a great weight for that wheel set. Can't wait to see them in the frame.

Then you just need a silver bar, stem and seatpost 👍

It's a really beautiful frame. The Royce hubs will not let you down, I hope you invest in the grease kit for the rear hub which is so easy to use even I can. Keep visiting Meastro's website it burning holes in my wallet!!

Great choice of wheels. The Royce bb I had outlasted 4 frames with only one change of bearings.

I think the bike would look better with an even slimmer silver stem and seat post. I'd recommend a PMP titanium post and PMP Aluminium stem. Not sure the stem is available still, but got mine from eBay. If not, a close match would be a polished up ITM Millennium with 26mm bars.

Having used Royce hubs for over 20 years in all weathers etc. I tend to re-grease when the freehub gets a bit loud. Even in wet weather it's not a weekly task, more a monthly one but all depends on the amount of riding/conditions. My front hub has never been touched in all the years and is still smooth as silk.

As an aside I am itching for a C64 and would only buy from Mike.

Yes there will be a weight increase, but a silver finishing kit would finish it off, especially with a set of classic drop bars!

Cinelli 64 bars are readily available or 66 if you can find them and if you prefer a super deep drop

Yea, Cinelli Giro 64 bars, with the matching 1A quill stem and via folli seatpost! That combination would look fantastic

But it's a threadless fork steerer, though could be converted. It's a shame cinelli don't make a modern stem to match. The grammo is a silver one that is available as nos for silly prices but far too industrial looking with those welds for this bike. It needs matching bars, stem and post. And that via folli seatpost looks perfect! A great alternative to an old c record aero post. Personally I would probably go with the quill stem to get things matching.
