I actually sent them a cut off piece of my Urgestalt seatpost about 18 months ago as I kept asking for one to be made.
I'm not expecting to see one for another 18 months. Urgestalt is at the bottom of their list.

I made another little DIY carbon fiber part for the Urgestalt, a headset dust cover.

The weight saving over the stock FSA headset spacer is about 9 grams when considering the weight of the extra spacer needed. :)

Wow, I can see you making every part of your bike in carbon. The finish of your parts are superb!

Thank you! that would be awesome to be able to do!

The finish on the headset dust cover could be much better. I used a low resolution 3D-printed mould without any post processing. - Next time I will make higher detail mould and smooth it out with filler and sanding, then I should get a high gloss smooth finish.

Here is the 3D-printed prototype for comparison. All the layer lines clearly visible;

you should have a LUCENDI Urgestalt frameset, i am sure it will be 400 grams lighter than the LW version.

I made another seatpost, this time with unidirectional (UD) pre-preg carbon fiber as the outermost layer;

It came in at 105 grams in total, being exactly 100 grams lighter than the original seatpost. :)

Anyone wanting to shave some weight off their original headset dust cover or slam that stem can now download and print this headset dust cover I designed.

Weighing in at about 1,4 grams it can save about 9 grams off of a standard FSA headset cover.

You are welcome!

Did you print and fit one to your bike?

I haven't done that, as I don't have a 3D printer. I just wanted to show appreciation you took the time to post the file, and secondly because it made me realise the idea that its going to become a really cool way for people to do stuff to help each other more in the future.

After a long winter the weather was finally warm enough today to test the seatpost outside! No weird creaks or sounds, it felt really solid.

On my first ride of the season I averaged 33 kmph over a 1 hour ride, which for me on this bike is close to my personal best. Off to a great start! :D
