Any pics would be helpful, thx. Perhaps I should just modify existing post and cut off the top and add carbon cradle with ti bolts and pasibly save 50 grams

I managed to save some additional weight by making my own headset spacer out of carbon fiber reinforced nylon (just like the Extralite ones);

And I saved a whole 5,0 grams by making the SRAM chain catcher out of the same material;

The original internal cable stops on the Urgestalt frame are made from aluminium and are quite heavy ay 3,2 grams;

So I printed some from cf nylon at 1,3 grams;

The frame has three of these so the total weight saving is 5,7 grams! :)

My FM079 had heavy brake hose stops too and I considered printing them, but didn't want to bleed the brakes and then got an Aethos. At least I replaced all the stop bolts with nylon ones. Cool to see someone doing a similar mod. Having a 3D printer around must be fun.

Where did you find nylon bolts?

It's a useful tool for weighweenies. I have probably saved close to 150 grams off this bike by using the 3D-printer.

The local 3D printing and electronics supply shop had plenty to choose from.

I got a new stem for Urgestalt. A THM Tibia in 110mm size, weighing an impressive 82 grams.

Now to figure out how the headset spacer should look;

Do you think the original Urgestalt is a better bike that the later models made in Asia?
