What's the problem with riveted bottle cages on Ti?

They can come loose over time and as long as you don't cross thread the welded ones they should last the life of the frame

What sizes are the old and new frame?

Nothing particularly wrong. Riveted, versus welded, on Ti or steel, is a cost/time saving approach.

Geometry is the same from the old to new. I was happy with it before

Welded bottle cage bosses are also just another nice touch of craftsmanship

Ryan and I put some work in (mostly Ryan) and got it almost done. Just need the finishing touches and to dial in the bar/shifter position. Bit porky but plenty of places to lose weight in the future

Thank you, really happy with how it turned out. I forgot how nice it rides; I got used to my stiff race bike again and this just rolls smooth and responsive.
