Lovely bike sir! I'm looking to pull the trigger on a similar build - Ti road disc, deep(ish) section wheels with 28c tires, etc, etc. Nice to see inspiration - and a mildly healthy disregard for light weight. I'm sure it rides great!

Perfect BAAW shot. Or I guess that looks like a garage door... BAAGD shot? I know fit comes first but I do think the Enve aero stem will have a clean, very inegrated look on top of the headset.

Took the plunge and cut down the steerer to get rid of the spacers. Looks much better and its an incentive to keep up with my core and flexibility work. Now just need my schedule and the weather to align to take some updated pictures.

So I'm guessing veloflex claiming they were incompatible with hookless rims was just a CYA type of thing? Good to know. I want to run that exact setup.

Yea, they seated with the compressor and didn't come off the shelf when pulling the valve core to mimic a sudden deflation. I'm going to give them a shot and see how they do long term.

I was going to try them out on my ARs this week but I'm glad you've already done the testing. Are you running 1 layer of tape?

Yes, one layer of the ENVE red tape. First ride on them today and if they are durable, they will be my go-to road tire.

Love the simplicity and the anodizing. Will last a lifetime unless you have another Honda incident
