Just got myself a good deal on a merida big9 frame,
Weight is ok considering the price I paid. I will be using all the parts from my current MTB.
Weight will probably be just under 10kg, my first goal is to get under 9kg

Current weight is nothing special, but I come from a 14kg alu Cube.
Getting under 9 kg wont be too hard, lighter brakes, finishing kit, cassette. I am going to try a black and silver theme, I really like the look of Gullholms scale.
I am also quite interested in the ND Tuned OVR system but I cant find a lot of reviews.

Since a lot of people are upgrading to eagle AXS, a lot of xx1 mechanical derailleurs are up for sale. I managed to buy one with Kogel ceramic pulleys for €100.
Old Sram GX:
New Sram XX1:
Not sure I will keep the kogel bearings they are kinda loud.
I also bought a headset bearing cover from ali to replace the ridiculously tall fsa one.

Back to summer tires,
Maxxis Aspen
580g and 605g are nice weights
Now bike is just under 10kg again
Still a long todo list:
Kalloy uno -50g
Fabric Line Carbon -62g
Mt Zoom handlebar -180g
Seatpost J&L -50g
Seatpostclamp -20g
Extralite grips -45g (but esi is so comfortable)
Garbaruk cassette -120g (when this one wears out)
Lighter brakes, thinking magura MT8 SL
Open for suggestions:
Pedals, currently m540 shimanos, tried expedo M-force 3 already and I dont like the clip in, so not sure if M-force 8ti will be better?

Changed a lot of things:
Garbaruk 10-48 Cassette 328g = 120g lighter than GX Cassette
Garbaruk 34t Chainring 63g = 3g heavier than 32t Superstar
Ashima 160 Rotor's 83g each 166g total = 77g lighter than XT 180-160
Pro Turnix 180g = 62g lighter
Leonardi Seatpostclamp 14g = 10g lighter than stock
(A bit of a mess right now, but ordered some black stickers for the wheels, and skinwalls will be gone when the summertires are installed)
Still currently on winter tires that weigh 332g more than my summer tires, and the bike has a front fender installed. Hoping to be at 9,3kg with the summer tires, sub 9kg finally comes insight. A new seatpost and some lighter brakes will hopefully get me sub 9kg. Currently still trying to decide which brakes to buy. I am looking at either a custom set of Magura MT8 SL's or some Shimano XTR's.
I might try to sell my RS Reba and buy a SID SL as this will result in a 320g weight saving. Also looking at some new wheel options, Farsports "Ultralight" MTB series comes to mind. A set with DT240's weighs around 1250g, might go with Carbon-Ti to save a bit more weight. Again this would result in a 200g weight savings. And one day a lighter frame...
Anyway, I am going to continue drooling over axelfabian's Instagram page and my friend's new custom Orbea Alma which I am totally not jealous of...

Carbon ti hubs are ~100$ more for a significantly lighter hub. I think it's probably worth it.
How do you like the extralite grips? I was thinking of get supacaz supalite grips instead because I don't like the look of the extralite option.

I like them my bars have this rough mounting area that starts at the shifters and ends at the end of the bar, so they stay nicely in place

New pedals, hopefully my last. Tried many different pedals but there always was something I didn’t like about it, these tick all the boxes for the moment
Old M540’s
New Exustar’s
Together with some Tune Cages the bike now weighs 9,060kg, so close
