Ah nice one on the ring tips. Do they still shift just as nicely? I'd read some other threads where people were saying the shift quality suffers slightly when changing to aftermarket rings?Nixster wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 8:56 pmThere’s lighter rings available for those cranks, Praxis for example or Cannondale Mk V rings if you can find them.
Also use latex tubes if you’re not already, lighter, smoother and faster so long as you check your pressures before riding.
Spacers and cone at 100g seems high too. Are you using the later expander in the steerer?
Red cranks will fit BB30 and BB30A if you take off the preload adjuster btw. Add stages Carbon arm for a really light PM option.
Latex tubes are on the list to get - i completely forgot they existed in all honesty lol.
I'll weigh all the spacers, expander etc when i change the headset bearings next month. I'm just using the ones that came with the bike, but i'm going to change to the carbon ones when i service it. I'm using the one on the left, i'm guessing it's considerably heavier than the high mod varient
