I replaced one of the Ti bolts, the other has a inverse taper head on it so couldn't find that one. What yokes did you get?
The cradle is available from smud (http://www.smud-carbon.eu/cradle_seatpost.html) you need to order the 28mm one, the others are too big.

Hi everybody
After some help of a Cervelo Representative at a bike fare and a LBS who ordered the parts for me I can now confirm that I successfully converted my R3 disc from their RAT axles to standard Thru-Axles (12mm). All of this without after-market axle insert kits (such as Robert Axle etc.) . Apparently Cervelo has all the parts for the conversion in their catalogue (they just make it rather hard to find them all together
). I even got the native Cervelo thru axles (without handle, hex screw ins). I included some pictures to show the conversion to you.
The parts I had to order were:
- QRA-AERO-F Cervélo Front Aero Through Axle KD161219019
- QRA-AERO-R Cervélo Rear Aero Through Axle KD160219013
- QRI-THD Threaded Axle Fork Insert KD215119537
- DRH-WMN112 rear derailleur hanger for threaded thru-axles

I did the same conversion recently, added weights of the parts here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=149347&p=1527813#p1527813
In theory, you could now upgrade to some lighter axles as well as the thread is relatively standard.

Easy place would be TI bolts and 140mm XTR rotors.stevec1975 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 18, 2020 4:48 pmIdeally would like to lost half a kilo, but not sure where I can, suggestions please.

Save 50g on changing saddle to a Berk Dila. That's what I did.
That Prologo saddle did not work for me at all.

Thanks for the info, do you have a link to your build on here (always interested in see how other people build similar bikes!)
My BB is a hefty chunk (152.7g with spacers), I have a GXP chainset on the BBright, will a Sram DUB PF fit that?
On the saddle, I have a Berk Lupina on my Scott which I can swap out, but I kinda of like the Prologo (i.e. I have not had a problem on 7 hour rides in the Alps), I might look at a Dila, but I always get saddle rub on the saddle nose, and the dila is extra wide there it seems..

No, you have a GXP (24/22mm) crank so a DUB (28.99mm) won't work at all.stevec1975 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 4:24 pmThanks for the info, do you have a link to your build on here (always interested in see how other people build similar bikes!)

I actually have a brand new C-Bear BBRight GXP BB for sale if you want to upgrade? I use the BB30 model on my S5 and it's amazing.
If the saddle works for you, keep it, it's not hugley heavy and comfort makes you faster than saving 50g!
Got my S5 down to 7.28kg yesterday and getting a 11/25 cassette to take a few more grams off it

Hi again. No, my BB wont work on your but a similar one with your crank mesurements will.stevec1975 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 4:24 pmThanks for the info, do you have a link to your build on here (always interested in see how other people build similar bikes!)

I will open a build here for mine S3. Think its quite unique since im using 1x12 (force+sram axs)

Changed the Saddle to a Berk Lupina, found a carbon cradle for the seatpost, installed a C-Bear Ceramic BB, oh and cleaned it, now 7.67Kg

Awesome thread. Great to see everything being weighed.
I'm so disappointed at Cervelo these days. Especially considering I have a 2008 SLC-SL that weighs 5.77kg with 46mm carbon wheels and no exotic parts other than Tune Mig/Mag hubs and dura-ace 7800.
A 2007 R3-SL running 1st Gen Sean Red with Chris King hubs in Mavic Open pros weighing at 6.4kg.
211g aero seatpost I guess is kinda acceptable. But a 237g handlebar is sad considering how much composite knowledge Cervelo has. How much did the fork weigh?
Cervelo could have easily designed a sub 200g handlebar. Hopefully the fork weighs sub 330g?
