Late to the party. Awesome set up this is Guy. Very well done.

I am also in the midst of getting a C64 (most probably the PJSL color). 183 (6") and about 84/85kg. I am still confused a little about the sizing of the C64s frameset. Should I be getting a 54H or a 56S? I am currently on a 56cm Canyon Roadlite (2012). Yes pretty damn old bike and this is a significant upgrade for me (as far as getting a new bike is  ). Current bike stack is about 598mm and 377mm reach.

Also contemplating whether I should settle with a disc version or just rims. Decisions, decision, decisions......

An update for the 2019 season.

I adore this bike. It's that simple. For me it's flawless. I've made a few changes since the last photos:

On go new Bora WTO 60's (wider and a better fit with the 28mm Turbo Cotton's I run, and I think they look the absolute nuts) - they've gone on today and I won't get a chance to ride them this week unless the weather clears up tomorrow. The Fizik saddle has gone and changed for a S-Works Romin Evo. The single-sided 4iii power meter has gone, changed for a dual-sided Stages Gen 3.

Image
Maybe it's too late, but I regret not getting the H...I used to ride a traditional geo Colnago size 60 with a 577MM TT, and had a C59 56S with a 580MM TT, and now have a C64 56S with a 582MM TT.

I regret not getting the 54H and running a longer stem...especially as I get older.

cchesebro, i agree with you.

my bike fitter told me 54H is the way to go for the C64. but due to budget constraints, im not even looking at C64 now LOL.

Amazing build! Cleanest I've ever seen. I keep coming back to see the photos.

Quick question for all you C60 and C64 owners out there running Di2. Could some provide a list of Di2 wire lengths you used for your install? I have a C60 frameset size 54 sloping and it will be my first Di2 build and I am trying to measure out the approximate lengths of the wires I need to buy. I'd like to fit the battery in the seatpost and will be using the RS910 bar end junction box instead of the stem one. I would run the di2 wire from the junction box by the BB straight to the bar end junction or a shifter (to avoid using the Y cable). Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Fantastic bike, top components, great looks. Maybe I would have put a Campy drivetrain...
Are you happy with the 3T Superergo handlebars? I just ordered one for my Colngao V2-R but will try to use the original Colnago R41 stem which is perfectly matching the lines of the V2-R.

1400mm cable from Junction B to left STI (so it buddies up with the brake cable if you are using UK braking).
600mm cable to other STI
350mm to bar end junction box
150mm from bar end junction to wireless unit, so hidden inside the bars, giving the best signal transmission to your Garmin.

That is really helpful @ratef42 - thanks very much in advance as I am likely to embark on a very similar project in the coming weeks.
Cheers mate

Hi Guy

I wanted to ask a related question please. I am leaning toward a Di2 purchase for my upcoming build, taking much inspiration from your build!

Re where the Di2 cable and rear brake cable neatly tuck into the hole intended for the rear brake cable: are you able to post a close-up pic of this please? It looks as though the Di2 cable may actually enter into the top tube hole slightly forward of the rear brake cable, and I am curious as to how this was achieved (notwithstanding the point that you didn't build the bike personally - I was hoping that by posting the close-up pic, others with similar experience could comment). There was another thread (viewtopic.php?f=3&t=161053) where someone with a C60 was making a similar ask, however I am hoping there is something inherent in the C64 cable routing that makes this more straightforward

Many thanks
Mike

I've got a different di2 cable exit on my C64, it's just by the rear brake cable. This way enables to plastic grommet to snap shut.

Thanks MrMojo - that's super clear and much appreciated.

Do you know if the Di2 cable routes internally back down into the head tube and then down the down tube to the back of the bike, or does it follow the rear brake cable through the top tube?

Cheers
Mike

No problem. The di2 cable routes through the head tube then down the down tube to bottom bracket area.
