Sweet! Very tasteful color choice. Looks factory but with a nice unique twist. Can't wait to see it built up!

I'm partial to the classic R3 / R3 SL schemes, but your black matte with personalized stripes concept is cool. Congrats on being adventurous - way more than I'd ever be!
Did your painter strip the white paint or paint over it?
Also, I believe a white paint usually weighs more than black ... white seems to require more coats. Matte black is an even better choice than white now!

I'll take a weight later today.
He sanded back most of the white paint, cos I saw pictures, but I don't know how far he went. It also needed a repair to a previous repair done by someone else.
When I look at the before picture, I actually miss it.

Some hurried pics. I really am very pleased with how it has turned out.
Cables to be finished, chain, bar tape.
Saddle, seatpost and stem are temporary as the proper ones are getting some nice matt lacquer applied. Well, not the saddle
I've not even attempted to set it up for position yet.
Sorry about the crank. I had to put some reflective stuff on it for some race years ago and I gave up trying to take it off.

This looks ridiculously awesome. These are the projects that make this forum fun to follow.
