The stripes make is %200 better IMO. I'm not a fan of showing up to a race or club ride - and everyone who has the same bikes - their paint is all identical. Aside from maybe a name decal - no originality. I paint my S5 a few times per year - sometimes solid colour, or stripes, or maple leafs etc. I get bored easily - and your bike - is not boring Nice!

Have u measured how much weight that the paint adds? I estimated about 200g for my XS tarmac.

Is it the paint process which you are interested in (cos I know very little about that) or the experience as a whole?
Yep, the process. have been contemplating stripping and painting one of my frames. trying to decide whether my desire to do it, to give it a whirl will outweigh my desire to continue doing it once I've started!
And those guys have said - the stripes maketh the bike!
