Is it the paint process which you are interested in (cos I know very little about that) or the experience as a whole?

The stripes make is %200 better IMO. I'm not a fan of showing up to a race or club ride - and everyone who has the same bikes - their paint is all identical. Aside from maybe a name decal - no originality. I paint my S5 a few times per year - sometimes solid colour, or stripes, or maple leafs etc. I get bored easily - and your bike - is not boring :) Nice!

Have u measured how much weight that the paint adds? I estimated about 200g for my XS tarmac.

Yep, the process. have been contemplating stripping and painting one of my frames. trying to decide whether my desire to do it, to give it a whirl will outweigh my desire to continue doing it once I've started! :lol:

And those guys have said - the stripes maketh the bike!

Did a revamp of this a few years ago.
Tom at www.kustomflow.co.uk did it.

looks like a totally different bike! where do they do custom paint jobs like that and how much was the respray? i'd be interested in something similar for my 2014 S3. Thanks!

So was I. It was the old white R3 that originally caught my eye.
