Lyrebird Cycles Woody

Awesome! I'd love a bike like this one day. Totally trick my kids "When I was your age, all bikes were made from wood and this is one... it's 300 years old" and they would be in awe

Yes and no. Bartape color is great. I always hated these "white" tape edges and the "white" perforation . That's why I have changed this on my bike.
Some detail coloring will make this bar tape look excellent matching.
BTW, great bike. Like it very much.

So, here's how this bike was last built in Di2 mode:
And here's all the detail: https://www.cycleexif.com/lyrebird-cycl ... -project-2
It was in retirement for a while, and then I had it converted to run a mechanical groupset as that's what I prefer to run these days.
It'll be coming back to life this week with 12-speed Super Record and WTO 33s. I'm contemplating another über-bling build on it with a THM cockpit (which is ordered) and THM or Lightning cranks, or possibly a set of eeWings...

AbsoluteBlack rings involved a 4-week wait plus shipping time, so I'm going with Praxis for now.
Forks will stay as they are for now. Rim brake fork options are limited these days, to say the least! THM would be the go, but 25mm max tyre width and their nasty old 'Times New Roman' graphics put me off.

Getting there:
Still 7.35kg without lights or Garmin, but there's an easy 300g up my sleeve in the wheels; and these arrived too:
