Beautiful scenery in Concord, New Hampshire at the ENGVT Concord Criterium this weekend. Fancied myself a quick iPhone shot before my race.

Oh man that Firefly looks so simple and classic looking. I've been on the fence about one this entire month.

Firefly asked owners to send them a the "classic side shot" of their bikes out in the wild. I imagine they're making a gallery of them.

I've been thinking about treating myself to a full Thomson cockpit after the holidays. We shall see.

That is damn near perfect. Chapeau!

Whatever you do, be sure to always match the bars, stem and seatpost....the curtains MUST match the carpet! :beerchug:

I don't believe Thomson does a fork but regardless, yes, if I change one part of the finishing kit I will definitely change them all to match.

I really wish this picture had come out better. The snow coming down was super heavy, and the shot I thought I'd taken was going to show that. Unfortunately you can't really see the snowfall.

Thomson kit is 100% worth doing. i love all of mine, the bars are something else and I managed to convince myself that the Masterpiece was worth it. Or that I was worth it.. something like that. Regardless, no regrets.

There's a buzz in the air in Boston, should be a very special day on Monday.

Rode the magical steed to work today.

Maybe not the most extraordinary of changes, but I recently scuffed up my decals a little bit. I brought it in to Firefly yesterday and had them re-done, this time in solid black.

First, acetone to remove the existing decals (Kevin, their frame designer):

Then after the downtube was cleaned, new decals applied (Tyler, the welder):

And voila:
