Gack - the bars were only 190g! And the tape was just 50g...stem was 130g...and the saddle was 175g.

Looks like I'm not going to be finding any big savings there.

In fact, the Deda Trentacinque bars/stem (42/120) added quite a bit, and the SSM Regale Fx came in at 149g...so...yeah.

I plan to order the Superleggera finishing kit though. But still, we're talking marginal gains (if any) off the existing kit.

I've put some miles on this now and have been really impressed with the ride of the frame. Granted, it's been a number of months since I've been on a light carbon road rocket...I went on a tour of custom steel for a while...but man, this thing just flies on the flats and really likes to have the power put down on rollers. The wheels are great and I'm loving the Deda cockpit so far. I don't know what I'm going to do with this long term, but it sure has been a fun one to flog the last little bit... More pics to come.

With the Deda finishing kit and Toupe Carbon saddle the weight is going up, not down...

But I'm still enjoying the ride!

Hi, do you still have this bike or wheels? Would you like to sell either?

It was a great bike but .... that post was seven years ago! ha ha.. I've probably ridden/owned 50 bikes or more since then.

I really just want a set of those super light Oval 724 wheels, and am willing to buy a whole Kestrel or Fuji to get one. Please let me know if you know of a set of those wheels anywhere. Thanks!
