Is your choice of carbon ti rings over stock DA comes from an aesthetic perspective or something else?
On the fence of getting them as well and trying to see if there’s something else besides being aesthetically fantastic

It's not really a choice over DA, as I've got the Clavicula crank and obviously DA rings wouldn't fit on that even if I wanted them to. It's more a choice of Carbon-ti vs Praxis vs Extralite.

Extralite are noticeably flexy. Praxis are great functionally but plain looking. Carbon-ti have very good performance plus look fantastic.

Hey,
Do you have any issues with the Gelu e3 tearing shorts? I have two pairs of bib shorts that now have a tear on the inner thigh near the nose of the saddle.

Hi. No, not been an issue for me. Bummer though! I do move around on the saddle depending on whether climbing or riding on the flat as well, so am sometimes on the nose (and I find the width of the Gelu good in this respect compared to other carbon shell saddles I've used). Unlikely to be the fault of the shorts, but FWIW I use Castelli Free Aero 4 more or less exclusively, which are quite robust.
