Flanders frame
Moderator: Moderator Team
Next season our team is sponsored by a local frame-builder named Flanders. I 'm interested in their carbon monocoque frame.
Probably this is a rebranded frame they got from an asian framebuilder. I would like to see some reviews before I buy this frame. So, has anyone seen reviews, or even better, ridden this frame with another brandname-sticker on it?

They're a new brand to me... that frame though seems to be corratec super bow inspired... the super bow was flexy from what i've read.
Cant find any review on them but have found their website - http://www.flandersfietsen.be/

i wouldn´t be to sure about that. the super bow that i had was not flexy, and was one of the best hardtails when it come to climbing, but that was corratec, don´t know how good this fram is.

You are sponsored by Flanders, but you have to buy the frame?

at cost is the usual sort of deal.Swannie wrote:here se, there se, den Tarzan

I got 4 bikes, mostly XTR or D-A, 3 custom built, for about £2000 as part of a sponsorship deal. Retail price, nearer 4 times that (late 90's tho). Most of the sponsored places at that time had similar deals..........

Correct, and untill I'm a pro I can live with this kind of deals
Thanks for searching the website! I already knew it but I didn't mention it.
Their website says the other carbon frame they offer has a claimed weight of 1195gr for a 19" frame. Not too bad I guess, and as I don't have to use an e-type derailleur I can loose some weight . Now I ride a Cube hpc frame.
The company is not the most known brand but, as they sponsored a pro-continental european team (Revor-Jartazi, with for ex. Erwin Vervecken in their team), it won't be horrible bikes.
But field-experience is still appreciated!
