Now I wasn't too sure if it was the right place to post but it is light at around 9kg for a titanium bike .

This was a huge project and took a lot of my time . Unlike carbon titanium is a very hard material to work with and some of the parts I made took extra time (mudguards, shims, lever brackets, brake levers, freehub spacers, c clips and some other stuff) .

It got featured on Bikepacking.com and got a lot of traction with the first version . This is the second version and has even more titanium . I haven't done a detailed description of the work just yet . I have so much work right now but I will do it later .

I think you need more than a pat on the back. How I wish I had the time or the money to do what you did.

That's very titanium but you inexplicably gave up on the spokes.

I am not a fan. Sorry!

I was expecting to see nuke proof hubs with Ti shell and Ti spokes. :noidea:

There was a full titanium chain available back in the day (made by viking).
It had titanium rollers, inner and outer links. But not the pins I think.
Probably 8 speed or something (which would have worked on your build).

Good luck finding one of those though, I can't even find a single image on the entire internets.

Thnk you for the comments . Appreciate the positive responses and understand it's not to everyone's liking . Regarding the spokes they are titanium but because this is a 'strange' wheelset by CrankBros the nipples run from the hub rather than the rim an they run halfway . So the spokes are actually 132mm length (dude at the factory asked if it was for a kid's bike) . I used this wheelset because the amount of titanium meant the bike flexed a bit when cornering so having a wheelset with shorter titanium spokes meant higher stiffness than a standard wheelset .

That's a tough bike you got there. It's a lot of work to process titanium. Titanium is used to make spaceships, and this is the bike! :)
