Anyone tried this combo out? The new PM is both much lighter and much cheaper than the old one - hopefully they institute this design for road too.

Any feedback?

30mm axle isn't exactly ideal for the mostly BSA73 MTBs, but Hambini, Token and WhiteInd do ones with 6806 which ain't too bad.

I decided to buy one during the BF sales. Won't have it in my hands until Feb though.

Anyone else heard what the provenance of the PM is on this? Supposedly it's Chinese, and not in-house developed as per the gen1. If true, I'd view this as a good thing, as it significantly increases the likelihood that it's reliable and accurate, unlike the gen1.
