Has anyone found a secure way to mount both a light and computer on the Roval Control Cockpit? It does have single bolt (similar the road Roval cockput setup) for a computer mount but fearful of it snapping by adding the weight of a Garmnin 1040 and a ~250g light combined with the harsh conditions of trails.

Reviving this thread. Is there a solution to mount a front light on the Control Cockpit?

It might be dangerous to mount a Garmin 1040 and a 250g light on the Roval Control Cockpit using only one bolt, given the trail vibrations. If it were me, I would think about getting a dual mount or some kind of load spreader, perhaps even one that has shock absorption for the bumps. Alternatively, consider separate mounting points to avoid putting all the stress on that one bolt. It’s better to be safe than sorry out there!
