does anyone know if the new SRAM AXS Pod Controller is compatible with the old sram xx1 axs rear derailler? I think so but I would like to clear this doubt

Yes according to SRAM. But there is thread over at MTBR where a user couldn't get it to pair with his AXS derailleur???

Looks like it turned out to be an out-of-date firmware issue. Once updated everything worked as it should.
