I have a mullet mtb...26x4 Jumbo Jim on the front and a 29r wheel on the back.

Any recommendations for a light(er) tire with matching knobbies for the rear? Want to stick with Schwalbe...maybe a G-One bite? TIA

I'm trying to visualise what your riding, and what surface. You have a fat bike front wheel with 26x4 are you looking for 29x4 on the back? I don't think anyone goes over 29x3 and I think schwalbe 29ers max out around 2.6 with Nobby nicks as a useful rear

The g-one bite is a narrow AF gravel tyre, will be completely mismatched with the front wheel.

Every mullet I've ridden/seen has a smaller rear tyre so you're on something a bit bespoke

That’s not a mullet that’s a frankenstein bike. A mullet is 27,5 on the rear and 29 up front.

I'm resurrecting a Jones Ti bike with fat tire truss fork up front. I will be converting to tubeless to shave some weight...and using a low knobby Jumbo Jim up front. Maybe use a light Rocket Ron in rear so its still Schwalbe/Schwalbe.

I'd go a Kenda Sabre Pro TR 2.4 if you don't mind a slightly lower knob height (similar to ThunderBurt).

Not sure if a RocketRon comes around a 2.4, or in a liteskin at that width.
SabrePro should roll a touch quicker.
