Thought after a few years of building retro rides I'd try a weight weenie (ish) build.

Aiming for sub 9kg with pedals so not true WW but I wanted it to be rideable!!

Basis is a scott scale which isn't superlight at 1.25kg Inc axle cage and rear brake adaptor

But a good start

Should be doable, I have a MTB with a similar frame weight and sits at around 8.8kg with no exotic components.

Fork today!!

Sid 100mm with nd tuned OVR and steerer tube down to 1285g with crown race.
